Portland Marathon 2016

Every year, Post 58 volunteers at the Portland Marathon, handing out water to marathon participants and cheering our loudest. For Post members, this event can count as a fundraiser or a service project, and despite the early wake-up time, it is always well-attended.

Here are some photos from the event, which took place on October 9th:

Summer Fundraising

Even with school out and climbs underway, our Fundraising Coordinators have been hard at work, organizing events such as Last Thursday sales and a car wash!

Thanks to them, and to everyone who participated. Remember, Post 58 members are required to complete at least one service project and fundraiser per year.

December 2015 Fundraiser

The December Fundraiser at Planet Granite was a huge success. We held an art and bake sale featuring the art and baked creations of our very own Post members. Some hot ticket items included a custom chalk bag, beautiful pottery, and delicious peanut brittle. Many new and old faces showed up to the sale which lasted 8 hours, some people had so much fun they stayed all day!
